As we continue to grow, we are seeking a seasoned and strategic professional to join our team as the Marketing Manager + Community Development.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Marketing Manager + Community Development, you will play a pivotal role in growing brand awareness and revenue at LOO. You will lead the development and execution of creative marketing strategies, utilizing a scrappy budget effectively across key social platforms, email campaigns, paid media, and events. This role demands a visionary marketer with a keen understanding of industry trends, a pulse on competitors, and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making. The key goals are audience development, increasing social reach and engagement, email list growth, event ticket sales, sponsorship demand generation, and membership growth.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and membership growth for emerging brands.
- Creative Campaigns: Conceptualize and implement viral worthy and cost-effective campaigns across social media platforms, email marketing, and paid media.
- Audience development: Grow brand awareness, audience size, and audience segmentation in our target cities, building the social following and email lists.
- Ticket sales: Implement campaigns and strategies that drive ticket sales for our major events (two summits).
- Data Enrichment & Hygiene: Ensure that all data is actionable for sales, marketing and operational use cases. This means knowing who is in the room by company size, industry, title, location, and more.
- Earned Media: Secure placements in notable publications, podcasts, and event speaking opportunities to drive brand awareness.
- Market Research: Stay on top of trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and key performance indicators to measure and optimize marketing efforts continually. Make data-driven decisions to maximize ROI. Provide weekly marketing updates to the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, and Memberships to align marketing strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.
- Content Development: Collaborate with the content team to create compelling and relevant content that resonates with the target audience across various channels.
- Material Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop necessary sales decks, case studies, testimonial pages, sizzle reels and other market facing collateral.
- Marketing & Registration Platform Management: Day to day management of all marketing channels including instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Klaviyo, Google ads, and the tools associated with those platforms along with necessary event registration tools.
- Partnerships + collabs: Identify potential brands, creators, and organizations to collaborate with that elevate LOO and boost growth
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand awareness and growth for emerging brands.
- Event Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing successful events that contribute to brand growth.
- Digital Marketing Skills: Proficient in leveraging social media platforms, email marketing, and paid media to achieve marketing objectives.
- Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing strategies.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the trends, challenges, and opportunities within the emerging brands landscape.
- Resourcefulness: Proven ability to achieve results with limited resources, showcasing creativity and resourcefulness.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire a marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
